I just found the poem by Jacek Kaczmarski, "Polakow portret wlasny" and I think it is very sad, but very true in many respects...what d´ya think? :-(

Well, I love Kaczmarski's songs. I agree with all what you said. Ones of my favourites are "Przejscie Polakow przez Morze Czerwone" (The Polish pass through the Red Sea) and "Ballada o bieli" (The ballad about white). Unfortunately I don't know where you can find translation of that songs.
