[B][FONT=Times][SIZE=7][COLOR=red]Looking for relatives of my great grandfater Karl Kukielka. Born 2/7/1867. Came to USA in the very early 1900's (1905 - 1907). Our family does not know of any brothers or sisters of his. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it. Please email me. Thank you and God Bless... Sherri Neiger smile.gif

No Ellis Island immigration records for Karl Kukielka; either a mis-spelled record or arrived at another port. For other Kukieka Ellis Island arrivals, (perhaps some are related):

There appear to be more Kukielka in the US than in Poland:

My Great Grandmother and three of her children (Marya - my grandmother) all came over to the USA in 1907. That showes up on my search from Ellis Island. My Grandmother was 2 at the time so I am thinking my great grandfater had to come over sometime between 1905 and 1907. I do not know where he was born or from what part of poland he was from. I'm at a dead end I think. This is so frustrating!! I am going to check with the cemetery where he is buried to find out if they know of his birth place or parents names. Any other info anyone has - again would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Easter Everyone - Smiles

Most likely your great-grandfather was born where his wife and children were born: Kargow, Galicia. The place does not appear on maps now. It probably has been incorporated in a neighboring place. Records show it was in the parish of Radlow (Radl~o~w), a town about 15 km northwest of Tarnow. You are lucky. Your local Family History Center has access to records back to 1609.

Hello!

My grandfather was Paul Kukielka (born in Poland, Dolego, near Opole, 1910), and his mother was Marya Kukielka. I don't know if she is the same Marya! But I know that a part of my grandfather's family has left Poland to the USA in the beginnning of last century.
My grandfather left Poland to France in the beginning of the last century, and he died in the year 1976. My mother Arlette is his daughter. That's all I know about Kukielkas by now, cause I'm just beginning my ancestor's research, but could we cross information? ton know if we are cousins?

Hi,
I have been told that my grandfather had a half brother or step brother named Paul Kukielka. My grandfather was Josef Rogoz who immigrated to the United States from Borzecin, Poland and lived in Chicago, Illinois. There was a John Kukielka who lived in Bloomingdale, Illinois. He said he was Paul Kukielka's son.
