Vote for your hopes, not for your horrors! If you think that it’s the slogan of Ukraine’s election, you are wrong. These words were pronounced by Senator Kerry during US election. I agree with that 100%. That is why I determined my choice in Yanukovic’s favour, though I live in Lvov and my parents are local intellectuals. And they are not foreign to true patriotism. Yanukovic is our hope of maintenance of Ukraine’s cultural originality despite Russia’s intimacy. But here I should stress that Russia has always collected the peoples, not absorbed them. At the same time Yuschenko serves for money pocket. And it doesn’t matter for him who has this money. Yuschenko is ready to serve any rich renegades. He is glad to be subservient to Americans or Tatars. The only difference is who of them will give him more money. That is why Yuschenko is horror for Ukrainian voters. And I was really terrified when I was going to vote. There were a lot of young people with orange armband around polling station when I came to elections. I was said that they were active members of youth’s organization “Para!” that supported Yuschenko. And I have been given warning that I should have the same armband if I don’t want to be beaten on my way home. And then it has happened with two my fellow students who decided that there was no danger at all. Now they are at hospital. But they fear to appeal to our militia. It’s a horror! And it’s simply ridiculous because they voted for Yuschenko. I’ll shudder with horror if Yuschenko win this election.
But do international observers know about this intimidation campaign? Can somebody suggest electronic address of any organization, which I’m able to inform about similar facts?

hmmm.. you may try at European Council find adress at google
you are Ukrainian so you have other perpective of Ukraine, I did some research about your country half year ago, Im not calling myself an expert but I know few things, however most of the stuff what is important is not about Ukraine itself but Russian-Ukrainian relations and how your nation would like it to be. What we see nowadays is Russian economic offensive in Central-Eastern Europe, in Western countires they call it a Russophobia but with every month there the image is sharper and sharper, Russia has huge money, thanks to their natural resources, and this capital is being used to many hostile or not-hostile take overs in our region of Europe, non of it took place in Poland because we dont like Russian capital to take any part in our economic life. You need to understand that Russia is ruled by secret service post KGBs. Not everything what is shown in TV is true or more.. not everything is shown in TV at all. Voting for Janukowych you are voting for those processes to get into Ukraine. Today you dont have free of speech - lets get an agreement on this matter. Ukraine is not a demokracy. You are voting against democracy. Juszczenko is not idle - nobody is, maybe he will steal some money (you´re naive to think that Janukowych hasnt stolen/will not steal) but Ukraine will move to western model of state.
This a topic for long hour discussion.
If I had similar problem in Poland I would vote for someone who gives me a hope that maybe not me but my kids will live in normal country. And such a normality I wish honestly for all Ukrainians.
PS What kind of Ukrainian is a person who cant even speak Ukrainian ?
