hi everybody,
i just came across this website while doing some research on a wedding that will be in poland. my boyfriend is polish and we recently got engaged. we both decided to have the wedding in poland, but it is very difficult for me to find out any information about places to hold the wedding, as well as any other information. if anyone has been in a similar situation, or has some good advice, that would be great. we are thinking of having the wedding in Krakow. if anyone has any information, or any good websites i should check out, that would be great. thanks so much!

I know that this comes late - but you can have a wedding here in any church and in any civil offive - the only thing you need to get is an appointment and you also have to pay a fee - the fee varies from place to place. When it comes to church wedding you`ll have to be a Catholic (a Protestant or Orthodox if you intend to have a Protestant or Orthodox wedding) - so you`ll have to have some kind of certificate from your local church - the priests might have some additional requirements i.e. they might demand a certificate that you`ve attended some courses about life in family ect. + other certificates ect ect - in that case you pay more - or you`re going to another priest. smile.gif

In addition to what I`ve written I would also ask the embassy/consulate how does it look with the formaliteis since you are a forgainer.
